Clemencia made this quilt during one of our Block of the Month

programs.  She then scanned

photos of her grandson growing up

through all his sports programs

onto fabric and placed the pictures

in the center of the blocks.

This was his "going away to college" gift.

I want Clemencia to be my Grandma.

                                                  Just An Idea -

                                                Betty Boop Wall Hanging

A customer asked us to publish the news item on the right from Brother, again. Congratulations to Kathleen...our very talented and special friend.

I also want Kathleen

to be my Grandma.

Congratulations to Kathleen Pereira, sewer extraordinaire and indispensable manager of 112 Sewing Supplies in Patchogue, New York. Kathleen took third place for professionals in the Sulky Challenge 2004 for Amazing Designs. Here's a look at her beautiful winner, entitled "A Peek at Betty Boop through Attic Windows." This 30"w X 37" wall hanging is just one example of her sewing expertise. When she?s not stitching up projects from the Brother website, she is searching through magazines and books for inspiration for the next project. Kathleen?s enthusiasm and excitement for sewing, whether it?s talking about Brother machines, volunteering for a charity sew, or running a quilting seminar, is evident in everything she does. Thanks Kathleen for being such a wonderful ambassador for sewing!
