Another day, Pat worked on and finished a fantastic placemat with napkin.

Note, the tail is the napkin.  The rolled hem was done on her new

JUKI jet-air threading serger.  Quilting was done on one of her Brother

machines.  The best part was when she was done, I emailed the designer

of the pattern to share and ask to purchase her patterns.(Ginnie at Wonder Woman Quilts)

"Hi, Ginnie.  Here is a picture of Pat in the class with her fabulous finished fish while she is working on

the matching hot pad!!  This will be so much fun!!  Thanks.  Chris and Donna"  She replied:

Hi Chris and Donna,

It's beautiful!  Nice bright colors and lots of quilting. I love seeing what fun fabrics are used.

I'm going to Palm Springs in March to teach this class. I need to pick out some fabric. Can't wait. Thank you.

Barbara wins the prize for persistence.  This lovely new member of

Donna's Sewing completed 8 flannel outfits for her family's

She is now (with no break in between) working on a new

project that is a surprise gift for a family member (mum's the word).

Of course, we made her wear one for her portrait!!!

Here are some recent projects that have been a big hit in the store.  Donna is very creative with a product called Quilt Fuse 2" Grid.

The little cosmetic/wristlet bag is very popular with Donna'sstudents.  The "Ticket" one is just the fabric off the bolt,

but the black and white is small squares ironed to the quiltfuse.  Donna's floral with green placemat is also with the quiltfuse.
